The short version

We collect the information you give us through the forms on this site, plus basic analytics about how the site is used. We use it to respond to you, to run searches, and — if you opted in — to send you occasional email updates. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

This notice explains the longer version: what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

RETAIN HEALTH is a healthcare executive search firm and a division of Blue Pen Resumes LLC. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean RETAIN HEALTH. Our website is retainhealth.co.

What we collect, and why

Information you give us

• Employers requesting a search or using the seat-cost calculator: name, work email, organization, organization type, role title, seniority level, salary band, and how long the seat has been open. We use this to respond, to prepare your business case, and to scope a possible search.
• Healthcare leaders who contact us: name, email, current title, location, seniority, and whatever you choose to tell us about the role you're looking for. We use this to represent you and to reach out when a search matches what you described.
• Email list: first name, email, and whether you joined as an employer or a candidate, used to send occasional updates.

Information collected automatically

Standard web analytics — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, and referring site. We use this to understand what's useful on the site.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want Social Security numbers, financial account information, health information about you, or government identification through this website. Please do not send these to us by email.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you asked for
• To run and manage executive searches on behalf of client organizations
• To send occasional email updates, where you have opted in
• To keep records we are required to keep, including assessment records retained for at least four years
• To operate, secure, and improve the website

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you. Every decision in a search is made by a person.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only in these situations:

• Client organizations, when we introduce you as a candidate for a specific role — and only with your knowledge
• Service providers who operate our systems on our behalf, such as email delivery, form processing, and data storage. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
• Where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims

Text messages

If you check the text message box on one of our forms and give us a mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry, your search or your candidacy. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of working with us or of any service we provide.

• Frequency and cost: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for more information, or email us.
• Your mobile information: we do not share or sell mobile numbers or text message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that deliver our messages use it only to provide that service to us.

How long we keep it

• Candidate assessment records: at least four years, so that any decision can be explained if questioned. This retention period reflects obligations that apply to us and to the employers we work with.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe.
• Text message consent records: while you remain opted in, and afterward as required for our records.
• Inquiries and search records: for as long as needed for the engagement, and afterward as required for our records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

• To know what personal information we have collected about you and how we've used it
• To access a copy of that information
• To correct information that is inaccurate
• To delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep
• To opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of
• To limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information through this website
• Not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these, email contact@retainhealth.co. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, which we will do using information we already hold.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to make the site work and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run retargeting advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.

Security, children, and changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new version number and effective date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
